How to Make a Location Not Visible to Customers

TRANSCRIPT

Hello, and welcome to this Grubhub dashboard walkthrough. In this video, we’ll show you how to make a location not visible to customers.

Periodically, based on the status of a location, you may need to temporarily remove that location’s visibility from the app. This will prevent a user from placing orders at this location and seeing that location from within the app.

To make a location hidden, click the Settings tab on the left-hand panel. From the dropdown menu, click Locations. At the locations page, you will see a running list of all of your locations. Find the location that you would like to hide and click Edit. Click the checkbox for Visible to Customers and scroll to the bottom of the page to click Update Location.

The change for this location will be reflected in the app within 30 minutes. Please note: when you’re ready to make this location visible again, you’ll need to come back to this location’s page in order to deselect the checkbox and update the location again.
